DMS Ireland, has officially launched the 2013 Awards this week at the Culloden Hotel. The Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) Centre will celebrate its 9th Awards Formal this year with a glittering celebration formal on 14th November 2013.
Speaking at the launch of the Awards, Lynn Carson, Managing Director, explains: “DMS Ireland has been an established centre for the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development since 1999. To date we have worked with over 700 individuals on CIPD programmes and we have a record number of candidates finishing CIPD programmes this year. The DMS Ireland Awards is an evening to recognise achievements of our candidates finishing CIPD programmes in the past year and an occasion for their colleagues and family to join them in celebrating their success.”
This year’s event is an extra special occasion as the Human Resource & Development profession celebrates 100 years of CIPD. Supporting DMS from CIPD, London will be Karen McMillan, Director of Market Development for the UK and the Principal Sponsor for the Awards is Investors in People Northern Ireland.
DMS Ireland has also introduced two new Award categories this year: The HR Professional of the Year is awarded to the individual who can demonstrate the ability to improve efficiency and effectiveness towards the implementation of specific HR or Learning & Development initiatives and has completed a CIPD programme through DMS Ireland in the past; The Creativity & Innovation in HR Company Award will be awarded to the organisation that can demonstrate an ability to conceptualise and implement innovative HR practices that address the issues of people management and development and is a past or present client company of DMS Ireland.
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates, past and present, to be involved in a very special evening and celebrate success for individuals and organisations.
